Emily writes incredibly well and is a wealth of knowledge. Her favorite game while we were all sitting in the kitchen was using a small white board and making lists of things and then we would have to guess what was on the list. It was great, I learned about all the Disney princesses, we covered fruit, vegetables, breeds of dogs, colours. Christmas songs and just about anything you can think of, we Emily would do a list and then one of us would help Olivia make a list (she might not be able to read the list, but I was amazed at her ability to remember what we had written down.) One of the lists Emily created was birds, now you would think that playing this game with a six year old would make it easier, not so. None of us could finish the list of birds because most of us had never heard of a blue footed booby. How many six year olds could possibly know about this bird? And then be able to tell you that it lives in the Galapagos Islands... yikes.

For those of use who are not smarter than a first grader, this is what a
Blue Footed Booby looks like.
They even dance too!
