Day 2 - Deception Pass

It was great waking up at Giles' house, he tried his hand at making mojitos when we got home and I must say that I liked them rather a lot and they went down quite easily!! Might account for not feeling fabulous when I woke up. Now you know you've had one too many drinks the night before when you are greeted in the morning by a pack of dinosaurs in the shower!!

Today we tried to go to a Jazz Festival, but the admission was $25 for each adult and I really wasn't sure we were going to get $85 out of an hour of jazz so instead we went for lunch. After an extensive walk around town looking for places that would allow us to have lunch with minors we found a great little place that had fantastic food. We then went to Deception Pass and a boat tour which was great, absolutely beautiful day, great views of the bays and the bridge.

In typical Little family style, after a day out, it is time for an ice cream!! This was the most wonderful little place on the side of the road, an ice cream shop, a wonderful garden area..

And even Thomas the Tank engine. I thought that this place would have been perfect for Dad to retire to.
