Dad had to drive me to my haircut this morning as it was so icy with huge snow drifts and of course this woman works out of her home in the country. We stopped on the way to help push a couple of women out of a driveway they couldn't get out of, I couldn't believe, everyone who drove by stopped to help, island mentality I guess, and probably an excuse to marvel at the weather they have been blessed with this Christmas.
Shopping with Mum this afternoon, had to move out of the bedroom as Giles and Shannon get first dibs when they are here. Giles, Shannon and crew arrived in the afternoon, much earlier than we'd expected, they had got an early start and made the ferry with only 5 min to spare.
Yay!! We are almost all here, Angela to arrive tomorrow, but rumour has it that she is off the mainland and has made it as far as the island, so it is looking good!
